• 4 eggs, soft boiled in your Bella Egg Cooker
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 3 tbsp sugar


  1. Cook eggs in your Bella Egg Cooker. Once your eggs are done, put them in an ice bath to stop residual heat from further cooking them peel and set them aside.
  2. Mix your soy sauce, water, rice vinegar, chilli flakes, sugar and crushed garlic before heating it to a boil. Set aside to cool.
  3. Place your eggs in a container of your choice and pour cooled mixture over your eggs. 
  4. Let this sit in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Cut them, and enjoy them in any way you'd like! We went with a soba noodle soup.


  • For our soba noodle soup, we cooked one bunch of soba noodles according to the package instructions. We served it in a bowl with leftover tofu from our taco recipe, blanched bok choy, pickled vegetables, mushrooms, chilli, and herbs. We poured over some stock from our risotto recipe that was boiled with soy sauce, Chinese 5 spice seasoning, chilli oil, sesame oil, water and crushed garlic,
