What You'll Need
  • 4 slices Jewish Rye bread, lightly toasted
  • 4 to 6 thin slices red onion
  • 1 avocado, peeled, seeded, and sliced
  • Dash of olive oil
  • Dash of red wine vinegar
  • Flaked salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
What To Do
  1. On two of the bread slices, layer the onion and avocado slices.
  2. Drizzle the sandwiches with the oil and vinegar.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with the remaining slices.
