What You'll Need
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup golden syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups of pecan halves
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
What To Do
  1. Spread pecans evenly on the baking sheet of your toaster oven
  2. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes until fragrant
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt
  4. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 2 minutes
  5. Remove from head and add toasted pecans, vinegar and vanilla
  6. Set aside mixture to cool for 10 minutes
  7. Whisk in the eggs, one at a time until combined
  8. Pour mixture into a par-baked pie shell and bake for 40-45 minutes
