What You'll Need
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup golden syrup
- Pinch of salt
- 2 cups of pecan halves
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
What To Do
- Spread pecans evenly on the baking sheet of your toaster oven
- Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes until fragrant
- In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 2 minutes
- Remove from head and add toasted pecans, vinegar and vanilla
- Set aside mixture to cool for 10 minutes
- Whisk in the eggs, one at a time until combined
- Pour mixture into a par-baked pie shell and bake for 40-45 minutes
